What we never collect

What we do collect

Location

ArriveDry uses your location to show the map, plan routes, track your progress during navigation, and warn you before you ride into a storm.

• While the app is open: Location is used on-device only — to center the map and advance turn-by-turn directions. It is not stored on our servers.
• During active navigation: Your route coordinates and destination are sent to our server so we can monitor weather along your path and send you alerts even if iOS suspends the app. This data is automatically deleted when your trip ends — or within one hour of your expected arrival if the trip expires without an explicit end.
• In the background (optional): If you enable background alerts, iOS occasionally wakes the app to check weather along your route. This check happens on-device. Location is not sent to our server for this check.

You can revoke location access at any time: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → ArriveDry.

Push notification token

If you allow notifications, iOS provides a push token unique to your device and our app. We store this token on our server so we can send you weather alerts during an active trip. It expires automatically after 30 days and is deleted from our server when your trip ends.

Subscription status

ArriveDry is a paid subscription with a free trial. When you start a trial or subscribe, the App Store or Google Play handles your payment — we never see your credit card or billing details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to verify your subscription status and grant access to the app. The data passed through RevenueCat is limited to: a randomly generated user ID, your subscription product ID, your subscription start and expiration dates, and the store (App Store or Google Play) that processed the purchase. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment information.

Everything else stays on your device

Saved rides, recent destinations, home and work locations, and all your preferences are stored only in your phone's local app storage. They are never sent to us or any third party.

Third-party services

ArriveDry calls these services to function. Each has its own privacy policy.

We share only the minimum data each service needs. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any party for any purpose.

Data retention

Security

All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Our server endpoints require a bearer token. Device-side data is stored in iOS app sandbox storage, inaccessible to other apps. Server-side data uses Cloudflare Workers KV with automatic expiration. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you promptly.

Children

ArriveDry is not designed for or directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
